Tips

• Please do not write a biography of Presley. Your paper is about the reaction to him as revealed in contemporary newspapers.  
• Beware just stringing together quotes. Identify patterns and create a coherent narrative.
• You don't need to express an opinion about the validity of the critiques.
• Your paper should include numerous specific examples and quotes from the articles to support your assertions.
