The policies of the Niagara University Library

Flyer Policy

The Library has information boards for displaying flyers and other on-campus information. All flyers must be approved and stamped by Campus Activities prior to hanging in the Library. Flyers not stamped by Campus Activities will be removed.

The Library reserves the right to decline or remove any flyer at its discretion if it does not align with the Library’s professional tone or overall aesthetic.

The Library will not display advertisement or individual sales, such as textbooks. Any flyers found within the Library for these will be removed.

Poster Frame Policy

Niagara University Library has several 24” x 36” poster frames on display available for use by academic departments and campus organizations. These frames can be used to promote lectures, performances, exhibits, and other university-sponsored events.

Guidelines:
  • Posters must be professionally printed and sized 24” x 36”.
  • Like for bulletin boards, posters must be approved by Campus Activities for dissemination.
  • Posters will be displayed for up to three weeks, depending on frame availability. The poster will be removed after the event is held.
  • The Library reserves the right to decline or remove any poster at its discretion if it does not align with the Library’s professional tone or overall aesthetic.
