The Library of Things (LoT) are a collection of items the NU community can borrow from the library for educational or recreational use. From poster display items to karaoke systems to calculators to ghost hunting equipment, we have something for everyone!
Many materials from the LoT require you to sign a waiver prior to borrowing the item. You may wish to review a copy of the waiver prior to borrowing materials.
Materials from the LoT cannot be browsed and are in locked storage. To borrow materials, ask for the item you want at the Circulation Desk on the main floor.
All items in the Library of Things can be found in the Library Catalog.
You search by title for the specific item you want to borrow or click the link from the Library of Things list to the left. If the item you want to borrow is checked out, you can place a hold on the item to secure your place in line for it.
To browse the entire collection through the catalog, leave the other search fields blank and select Library of Things under Collections.
