College of Arts & Sciences

Dr. Ajitpaul Mangat, Assistant Professor of English, has authored the article, Pitchfork, Race, Collaboration, and the Making of “Indie Rap”,” in the Journal of Popular Music Studies.

Dr. Susan Mason, Professor of Psychology has co-authored an article with student, Jack Nadrowski. The article, “The Impact of a Pandemic on Education and Mental Health,” was published in Modern Psychological Studies.


College of Education

Dr. Carol Doyle-Jones, Associate Professor of Education, has authored a book chapter, “Cultivating Visual Arts and Multimodal Explorations in Teacher Education,” in Arts-Based Multiliteracies for Teaching and Learning on pages 303-326.

Dr. Karen Poland, Assistant Professor of Education, and Dr. Elizabeth Falzone, Assistant Professor of Education, have co-authored an article with a colleague from another institution. The article, “Why Wasn’t Participation in Government Enough? A Historical Policy Analysis of PIG and the Seal of Civic Readiness,” was published in the Journal of Inquiry & Action in Education.

Dr. Walter Polka, Professor of Education, has co-authored an article with Ph.D. Candidate Roselle Aranha, and a colleague at another institution. The article, “Post-Covid Differentiated Instruction: A Case Study of Pre-K-12 Teachers’ Perceptions in the Greater Toronto Area," was published in The Journal of the International Society for Educational Planning. 


College of Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management

Dr. Darren Treadway, Associate Professor of Sport and Recreation Management, and Dr. Lisa Williams, Associate Professor of Management, have co-authored an article with colleagues from another institution. The article, “Performing for Status: A Hierometer Approach to Follower Narcissism and the Impact of Leader-Member Exchange on Follower Performance,” was published in the Journal of Business and Psychology.


College of Nursing

Dr. Christine Nelson-Tuttle, Associate Professor of Nursing, has authored a book chapter, “The Amish,” in Handbook for Culturally Competent Care on pages 75-84.
