College of Arts & Sciences

Dr. Daniel Pinti, Professor of English, has authored a book review. The Comic Book Western: New Perspectives on a Global Genre (excerpt) was reviewed in Western American Literature.

Three NU faculty have co-authored an article: Dr. Kevin Blair, Professor of Social Work, Dr. David Taylor, Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice and Dr. Marlo Brown, Professor of Mathematics. Attitudes of American High School Students Toward People Living in Poverty: A Quantitative Study and Analysis (full-text) was published in the Journal of Poverty.

Dr. Dana Radatz, Associate Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice, and Dr. Carrie Teresa Isard, Associate Professor of Communication and Media Studies, have co-authored a book chapter. The Fallacy of the "Lesbian Wolf Pack" Narrative (abstract) has been published in The (Mis)Representation of Queer Lives in True Crime. The book is available to borrow from NU Library, and can be found at our New Book display on the main floor.


College of Business Administration

Three NU faculty have co-authored an article: Dr. Krieg Tidemann, Assistant Professor of Economics, Dr. Madhurima Bhattacharyay, Assistant Professor of Management, and Dr. Kristine Principe, Associate Dean of Curriculum & Program Development & Associate Professor of Economics. ADDENDUM: Transformative Reimagination: A Framework for a Vincentian College of Business (full-text) was published in the Journal of Vincentian Social Action.

Dr. Qing Yang, Assistant Professor of Finance, has co-authored an article with a colleague from another institution. The Role of Dividends and Investor Sentiment in the Relation Between Idiosyncratic Risk and Expected Returns (full-text) has been published in Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting.


College of Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management

Patrick Sparks, Assistant Athletic Trainer, has co-authored an article with colleagues from other institutions. Effect of Exertion on Blink Reflex Parameters in Division I Football Athletes (full-text) was published in Cogent Engineering.
