Dr. Stefanie Wichhart, Associate Professor of History, has authored a book chapter. "Innocent Efforts: The Brotherhood of Freedom in the Middle East During the Second World War" is chapter 11 in the book Allied Communication to the Public During the Second World War: National and Transnational Networks. College of Education
Dr. Patricia Briscoe, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Masters of Educational Leadership and International Education, has co-authored two articles:
- Conceptualizing Leadership in Communities in the Global South Experiencing Generational Poverty: An Exploratory Case Study in Muñoz, Dominican Republic (full-text) was published in the Journal of Leadership Education.
- Work Intensification: Lessons Learned From School Leaders in the Dominican Republic (full-text) was published in Caribbean Curriculum.
Several NU faculty members co-authored chapters in the book Crisis and Opportunity: How Canadian Bachelor of Education Programs Responded to the Pandemic (PDF eBook):
- Chapter 5, "Pandemic Pedagogies: Transforming Teacher Education Through Spaces of Possibility" was co-authored by Dr. Zuhra Abawi, Assistant Professor of Education; Dr. Carol Doyle-Jones, Assistant Professor Education; and Dr. Christian Elia, Chairperson of the Department of Ontario Education
- Chapter 20, "Neutrality Always Benefits the Oppressor: The Need to Rupture the Normalized Structure of Teacher Education Programs to Diversify the Workforce" was co-authored by Dr. Zuhra Abawi, Assistant Professor of Education, along with a colleague from another institutution.
