Niagara University Receives Large Donation of Sports Memorabilia

Niagara University alumnus Brian Andrews (class of 1991) recently donated nearly 600 NU media guides and sports programs to the University. The “Brian Andrews Sports Memorabilia Collection” contains some items dating back to 1914 and fills major gaps in NU’s archival collections. Athletics have been integral to the University’s identity, and this generous donation greatly increases our ability to document that heritage.

Brian, his father, John Andrews; and his uncle, Eugene Antczak (class of 1948), visited the campus on May 3, 2019 to deliver the collection in person. Athletics Director Simon Gray and Library Director David Schoen accepted the donation on behalf of the University.
