New Library Databases
- April 1, 2021
NU Library has recently added three new databases to meet the research needs of our students and faculty:
Newsbank (also known as Access World News) is a great choice if you are looking for newspaper articles or other primary sources. It includes over 12,800 local, regional, national and international sources. You'll find valuable information on today’s issues and events from newspapers, newswires, transcripts, video clips, web only, and blogs.
Black Life in America is another source for news articles. It covers the experiences and impact of African Americans from 1976-current day, as recorded by the news media.
The Times Literary Supplement (TLS) originated as a supplement to "The Times (London)." It features book reviews and topical essays. TLS has a long-standing reputation for fine writing, interesting book reviews, literary discoveries, and insightful debate.
