Melissa Langridge and Colleagues Publish Chapters in Two New Books

Melissa Langridge, user education coordinator in the library, and various colleagues published chapters in two new library science books. 

"Student Perceptions of Academic Librarians: The Influence of Pop Culture and Past Experience" appears in The Librarian Stereotype: Deconstructing Perceptions & Presentations of Information Work. Melissa's co-authors are Christine Riggi, NU reference librarian, and Allison Schultz, an NU undergraduate student.  

"Cooking Up Collaboration! Faculty-Librarian Collaboration in Online Instruction" appears in The Embedded Librarian's Cookbook. Melissa's co-authors are Kristin Burger, adjunct professor in NU's history department; Blake Carver, owner of LIS Host; and Natalie Bennett, former NU outreach librarian.
