Dr. Polka & Dr. McKenna Edit Two Books

Dr. Walter Polka, Professor of Leadership and Policy, and Dr. John McKenna, adjunct Professor and NU alum, have recently co-edited two books, along with a colleague from another institution.

Coping with Educational Crises: Approaches from School Leaders Who Did It covers the leadership approaches employed by school district administrators at all levels of organizational responsibility, to confront unexpected crises. Its chapters were written by administrators, leadership researchers, and educators, including some written by the editors. A print copy is available, located in our New Book Display.
