Origin of the Human Species
by
Dr. Dennis Bonnette
In Origin of the Human Species, Dr. Dennis Bonnette, Chairman of the Department of Philosophy at Niagara University, attempts to "determine the extent to which evidence of evolutionary science is consistent with supernaturally revealed teachings about our origin" (Preface).

Of course, many books have been written on similar themes. What makes Dr. Bonnette’s book different is that he examines the subject as a philosopher, not as a theologian. He reviews the evidence supporting evolution with a critical eye and brings a great deal of interdisciplinary research to his analysis.

The book is scholarly and does require focus on the reader’s part. However, it is accessible because it is well written and interesting.

You can find Origin of the Human Species on the basement level of the Library at call number QH 360.5 .B65x.
