Excellence in Customer Service Award
The Excellence in Customer Service Award is intended to recognize the Library staff member who stands out in one or more of the following ways:
  • Excellence in direct customer service.

  • Excellence in increased productivity that enhances customer service in a substantial way.

  • Excellence in forwarding the instructional or research mission of the Library.

  • Excellence in innovation. Recognizes good thinking that results in a change in procedures, a completed project, a new initiative, or any other activity that results in improved service.

  • Going beyond the call of duty. Recognizes employees who look beyond what is merely required of them, and who thereby enhance customer service in a unique way.
Nominations are made by students, University employees, and Library staff. Nominations should be sent to David Schoen, Director of Libraries at schoen@niagara.edu.
