Niagara University Library
Research Assistance by Appointment
Did you know that you can make an appointment with a reference librarian to receive individualized research assistance?

Of course you can just come into the Library and ask for help, but sometimes the librarian on duty is busy assisting many people at the same time.

If you make an appointment, however, you will receive the undivided attention of one of the reference librarians. Plus, because the librarian will be able to prepare for your specific request in advance, you will be provided with guidance customized to your needs.

Of course you will still have to do the research, but a reference librarian will get you started, and if you wish, stay in contact with you for the duration of your project.

To make an appointment, come into the Library and ask for Jonathan Coe, Coordinator of Public Services, call him at 716-286-8005 or email him at jcoe@niagara.edu. You can also speak to the reference librarian on duty to find out more about this program.
